Outcomes of training at University of Naples Federico II

The task:
- To organize international scientific workshop «Special Issues of Analysis, Identification, Simulation and Management Problems in Critical Infrastructures» and to discuss special topics related to development of MSc and PhD-courses of the current Tempus project 158886-TEMPUS-1-2009-1-UK-TEMPUS-JPCR.
- To organize joint work on adaptation of some results of the project "Dependable Off-The-Shelf based Middleware Systems for Large-scale Complex Critical Infrastructures» (PRIN Research Project Nr. 2008LWRBHF) for the development of MSc and PhD-courses of the current Tempus project.
- To discuss some special features of scientific researches results publication (according to European standards).
- To familiarize SevNTU Team with postgraduate European education during PhD defense presentations.
- To get acquainted with common government founded projects, developed by Interuniversity Consortium for Informatics (Consorzio Interuniversitario Nazionale per l'Informatica – CINI) during Agenda Mid Term Review Meeting for the project «Critical Step».
- To exchange the teaching experience of Italian partners while visited practical, lab works and lectures within bachelor's and master's courses in Computer Sciences.
- To discuss the implementation of some scientific results in Мc5 course "Distributed critical systems and infrastructures".
To sum up – the goal of the visit is to provide joint work on international education project "National Safeware Engineering Network of Centres of Innovative Academia-Industry Handshaking (TEMPUS SAFEGUARD)" (158886-TEMPUS-1-2009-1-UK-TEMPUS-JPCR) and to use TEMPUS-SAFEGUARD possibilities – to achieve new targets in cooperation and joint research and technology-oriented development.
The results of traning:
The planed traineeship program has executed in full. During the international scientific workshop «Special Issues of Analysis, Identification, Simulation and Management Problems in Critical Infrastructures» special topics related to development of MSc and PhD-courses of the current Tempus project 158886-TEMPUS-1-2009-1-UK-TEMPUS-JPCR were discussed. The entire amount of presentations was 16. After the workshop participants were awarded by individual certificates. It should be mentioned that the SevNTU Team familiarization with postgraduate European education was made during PhD defense presentations. Also, the joint work on adaptation of some results of the project "Dependable Off-The-Shelf based Middleware Systems for Large-scale Complex Critical Infrastructures» for the development of MSc and PhD-courses was made. Implementation of some scientific results in Мc5 course "Distributed critical systems and infrastructures" was discussed. As an exchange of teaching experience the SevNTU Team visited practical, lab works and lectures within bachelor's and master's courses in Computer Sciences. Methodical, informational and technical support was shown to them. Some special features of scientific researches results publication (according to European standards) were discussed. During Agenda Mid Term Review Meeting for the project «Critical Step» the Ukrainian visitors had opportunity to get acquainted with common government founded projects, developed by Interuniversity Consortium for Informatics (CINI).
